Of course the city of Barcelona offers amazing wedding locations for your dream wedding that we will highlight and discuss in different blog posts, but in the surrounding area of the city many more fairy tale like wedding locations can be found.

In this post the focus lies on Sitges, just North of Barcelona and a perfectly pitoresque seaside town with 17 beautiful beaches (trust me, this town deserves a lot of adjectives) and great road (and rails) connections with the center of Barcelona.

In the actual town of Sitges you can find (luxury) hotels, restaurants, churches and other wedding venues for all types of weddings. You will have absolutely no issues finding your ideal location to accommodate your guests, host your wedding, wedding reception and dinner. Of course Wedding Stories is more than happy to make recommendations and arrange everything you could possibly wish for in this precious part of Catalunya.

A definite location to highlight though, is the Medieval church Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla, one of the most picturesque churches that Sitges has to offer in the Barcelona area. Take a moment to picture the sparkling bright blue Mediterranean ocean at the foot of the church steps… making the perfect dreamy background for your wedding pictures.
